Certified Performance Test Chambers
The NEHA-NRPP requires that operators of analytical radon and/or radon decay product measurement devices periodically pass a device performance test.
Device performance tests are to be conducted at NEHA certified performance test chambers. To become certified as a performance test chamber, a firm must submit and application and pass an inter-comparison test with an independent chamber (currently US EPA in Las Vegas, Nevada).
A certified performance test chamber is certified for radon or radon
decay products separately. To view a list of current NEHA certified performance test
chambers select one of the following options:
Chambers certified for performance testing radon
measurement devices
Chambers certified for performance testing Working Level devices
Note: Certified performance test chambers also offer spiking services as required by Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
